Step #1 – Create Free Account
The first step in the process is to visit: www.MyFloridaLicense.com
Here you will create an account with Florida DPBR
Step #2 – Start Fingerprinting Process
You should start this process early, as it can take 4-5 weeks to complete.
The fingerprint process & instructions are a little confusing, so let us know if you have any questions.

Step #3 – Complete Online Classes
After you get things started with FL DPBR, you want to start your classes
The Salesperson License requires you to complete 63 hours of pre-licensing.
CE Shop offers good online classes, if you choose not to do “in-person”

Step #4 – Register for State Exam
For the license exam, the State of Florida uses Pearson VUE
The exams are offered daily and can be taken either online, or at a nearby Pearson VUE test center.

Step #5 – Activate Your License
Once you pass your exam, it’s time to affiliate with a brokerage.
